Browntop Millet

Browntop Millet (aka Andu Korralu) is a highly nutritious ancient grain.  This grain unpolished, chemical-free and cultivated by small holder farms in the Anantapur district under the Timbaktu Collective.

Native to India, this is gluten-free and known for its exceptionally high dietary fiber content.  It has low glycemic index, making it an excellent alternative to white rice or wheat for managing blood sugar and supporting digestion.

Browntop millet cooks similar to rice and works well in both sweet and savoury dishes.  It is best to rinse the millet thoroughly  first, and soak for 30 minutes before cooking.

The rice is PGS certified organic and contains no chemical residues.
