Barnyard Millet (aka sanwa or Udalu) is an ancient gluten-free grain, rich in fiber and iron. This product unpolished, chemical-free and cultivated by small holder farmers under the initiative by the Timbaktu Collective in Andhra Pradesh, using safe, chemical-free, and regenerative organic farming practices.
Packed with protein and dietary fiber, this millet is easily digestible and acts as a cooling food for summer. And, it is low-GI, gluten-free and is an excellent alternative to rice.
Can be cooked in 5-8 minutes and used to make rice replacements, upma, khichdi, and cutlets.
The rice is PGS certified organic and contains no chemical residues.
