Rajamudi rice is a nutrient-dense, low-GI, exotic variety of unpolished red rice, native to Karnataka. Historically, it was grown exclusively for the Maharajas of Mysore; legend has it that subjects who could not pay their taxes in gold were allowed to pay with this rice instead.
It is known for its distinct red and brown pattern, earthy aroma, and slightly nutty flavor; Ideal for daily consumption, easy to cook, no soaking required and easy to digest.
The rice is NPOP certified organic and contains no chemical residues.
