Peanut Podi

This yummy peanut chutney powder (palli podi or shenga podi) is made from organically grown, harvested, and processed peanuts from Timbaktu Collective near Ananthapur, AP, by rural women using traditonal hand pound method.  It uses organically grown groundnuts, dry red chillies, and tangy tamarind to create a rich, nutty, and spicy condiment.

How to Use this?
With Rice: Mix a couple of spoonfuls of the powder with hot white rice and a generous dollop of ghee or sesame oil.
With Breakfast: Serve as a dry side dip or mixed with oil/ghee for idli, dosa, upma, and pongal.
As a Garnish: Sprinkle over cooked vegetables, salads, or snacks for a crunchy, spicy kick.
