Avocado (Tropical)

We procure these from organic farms in Karnataka.  These avocados are fresh, organically grown without the use of any non-organic fertilisers or chemical pesticides.

Tropical avocados (often called "West Indian" varieties) are bright green, round fruits with a glossy & smooth skin.  Unlike common Hass avocados, they contain more water and less fat, resulting in a milder, slightly sweeter flavor.

These avocados don't change colour while ripening.  Because of their higher water content, these avocados are prone to molding if left to over-ripen. Store them on the counter and transfer them to the refrigerator once ripe. 

These are less oily, their flesh remains firmer and won't turn into traditional creamy guacamole.
