Traditional Sona Masuri or BPT Rice aged over 9 months. This rice was cultivated and harvested without the use of urea or any chemicals / pesticides.As opposed to brown rice which is whole-grain rice with bran unremoved this rice has been polished once to remove some amount of the bran layer.The bran is rich in fiber provides the higher nutrition but prevents the cereal germ inside from cooking properly.
