Raw Khandsari Sugar
Khandsari is a kind of raw cane sugar manufactured in India since ancient times. It is produced in cottage scale only.
This sugar is yellow in colour, tastes sweeter, has lower glycemic index than brown sugar and hence takes more time to enter the blood stream. Hence, this is a better choice than refined or unrefined sugars.
Can be used in many traditional recipes, or can be added to sweeten tea or coffee.
